Heres the deal for me: I graduate in December 08, and am most likely going to grad school immediatly after that..in particular, the masters in real estate program here at A&M, assuming that I can get in. A lot of these kind of programs seem to look highly on applicants that have a 3.5 overall GPR in their last 60 hours. Right now I'm on the boarderline, but it's looking like I could get a C in what I thought would be an easy class. What I could do is use my last Q-Drop, have 9 hours this semester and then just have 13 my last semester here instead of 10. The C class is an elective, so I can just take something else in its place. If I did that, I could probably get 2 A's and a B this semester, and have around a 3.5 in my last 60 while applying to grad programs in the fall. Most of the deadlines are in October-November, so to me my Fall 08 GPR won't really matter.....right? Even if I decide to not do grad school and just to right into a job, the GPR that they will be considering will pretty much be the one thats on my resume at the end of May...
