Theres really no reason to go to class either. Its all in the book.

While it is in the book, Edwardson pretty much only tests what he covers in class and he doesn't cover everything in the book. You're better off going to class than having to read and study everything in the book.

I really liked Dr. Edwardson. He's funny. It's an easy A but a fun class if you're interested in financial markets.

I would take this quote with a grain of salt. People told me things like this when I took the class and I found his tests extremely challenging. I have never made below a B in any economics class, I studied a lot for these tests, but for some reason, I just couldnt do well. He really words the questions weird sometimes, and there is ALOT more than just basic concepts. Make sure you know how each basic concept relates to every other concept.

Medium level class IMO. 311 is harder than 202 or 203, but easier than 323.

I found this class to be harder than Econometrics, but enjoyed the lectures a lot more. Edwardson is a great prof.

Last semester he was lecturing on priveleged information in a market (cant think of the actual term), and he used Frangate as an example. Half the class had no idea what he was talking about, I was cracking up in the back.

Some people have trouble with different things Charlie. Like me..

Give me an essay test and I will ace it. Give me a multiple choice test where the intent is to trick, and I will do poor.

Edwardson's questions are pretty straightforward. I can understand not doing well, but I never felt he was trying to trick me on the questions.

Trying to trick? Ive taken two classes with him and I can assure anyone wanting to take his classes he is not trying to trick anyone. Edwardson is easily the most liked Economics professor along with Grosskopf.

Where did I say it was him who did that? I was talking more along the lines of Stat, Mgmt, and such. To me Edwardsons tests were hard, but not tricky. It was the content that got me.

I'm not being an elitist here im just saying that this is a very easy course. I've recommended it to people who need electives.

I just found myself studying more for that test vs my econometrics tests. Statistics comes easy to me, so that could be a big reason why.

Stat comes easy to you? Must be nice.
