That's very disingenuous aggregation of "sides" being equated with parties. The Democrat party exists on laundered taxpayer funds that are distributed through fraud. The gaping holes in the accountability are by Democrat party design. Mass illegal immigration and the NGOs that facilitate it are the main constituency.

The Republican party has a platform that opposes fraud and seeks to hold the guilty accountable. However, the Republicans elect politicians as legislators who are cowards and will not act or obstruct reform. The one meaningful exception is that Republican voters elected a flawed but competent champion in Trump to be President and he has waged a decent fight.

If you want to talk about sides and draining the swamp, you can put the Democrat Party, most elected Republican legislators, the Republican donor class, and the majority of the federal judiciary on one side and Donald Trump on the other.

A simpler dividing line would be all of the DOGE reforms and one side with those who support the cuts and reforms and everyone who opposes them on the other. Those are the sides of the issue.

What amazes me the most is the number of people that actually support this outright theft of our tax dollars. Why would anyone that is not directly benefiting from the fraud/theft support it happening ? ? ?

It's part of the virtue signaling that lefties engage in. They see these fraudsters, who are minorities, as sacred cows. They also despise America and want the system completely undone . e.g. stolen land, whiteness, colonialism, paying for the sins of our fathers, etc... It's not really fraud in their minds, it's justice!

Apart from those who are direct financial beneficiaries of the fraud, I believe it's mostly those who were 'educated' in public schools after the long march through the institutions erased the teaching of western civilization and Anerican values. Those people largely don't pay federal income tax (the 47%) and view fraud as the mechanism by which they will eventually get their share of wealth redistributed from old white guys who they have been told earned it by exploitation of women, brown people, and the former colonies.
