Just kidding. Cops were called on his parents for arguing with other parents and league staff and making a scene. The kid really is phenomenal for his age, but like any league for kids that age, everyone gets to play and they have to be good sports. The parents were upset that their kid was being benched so other kids could get minutes and because he was pushing other kids, and they were harassing league staff and making a scene about it. The head of the league asked them to leave, and they refused, so the cops were called to trespass them. Of course they claimed it was racism, too.

It's a fine sport. For Europeans, Californians, and women.

We had a kid similar to that with my son's first jungle soccer team. I was actually fearful for the other team that Bryce kicked it so hard and well at that age. His teammates knew to get the hell out of their way. His dad said he ate, drank, and slept soccer, but he was also completely onboard when we pulled him after 4-5 goals. It was like if one of the men's USA players played on the women's team.

But, if the kid is that good, have him play with the older kids that are better.

Yes, keep him challenged. It's a win-win.

Our daughter had a kid like that in her league at 4-5 too. You could tell her really loved the game and played/practiced a lot. His parents also didn't care when he was benched. Weird how that happens and cops are never called.

He's 3 and can dribble and shoot really well, so yeah, he's pretty talented. Kids that age generally lack the fine motor skill and coordination required to finesse the ball on the move and consistently kick in the location they want. You can teach fundamentals and how to control the ball, but even if the kids listen and actually do what you're telling them, they generally lack the required ability for good control. When it comes to power, their legs are like windshield wipers that only go either fast or really fast instead of variable speeds where you can dial in what you need. You can't teach that kind of innate motor control.

What can be taught is not being a whiny attention hoar, but that's obviously not happening with those parents.

i've been rocking rec level soccer teams for years. at 4-7 years old, i usually had 3 players on each team that could go 5+ every saturday ... we would usually put the kid with the hot hand on the other team and then shut him / her down just to prove to the other coach that i was better than them!

First season was .500. After that I had 3 boys seasons and 2 girl seasons where we were undefeated! Still going, I am in season 11 of just dismantling other teams b/c I know how to play real sports ... most folks are shocked when they realize i've never played soccer at any level.

The kid is now being sent to Spain by Jay-Z's Roc Nation so he can be trained in a development program.

That soccer league did this kid one mother of a favor.

Sometimes downs can have even better ups.

Good luck to the kid.

As someone who has had both a boy and girl in soccer since about this age, and having had to witness it firsthand, this is a really brilliant analogy for what I see, and even in some kids slightly older.

Honestly, at 3, you are lucky to have maybe 1 or 2 kids on the entire field that actually understand what they are supposed to do with the ball even if they make contact with it.

This kid has really good spatial awareness, quick feet, and an amazing touch for his age in addition to understanding what needs to be done when he's close to the ball, nothing against him, but wow that the parents would have a problem with letting some other kids play when its 10-0 after probably 5-10 minutes into a 40 minute game, just cheer for your kid and tell him good job. The coach would have likely subbed him in again later; it has nothing to do with ability. They aren't going to sit him for the rest of the game. Dont harass the coach for it and try to claim some sort of victim status.

Unfortunately it worked. GFM is at $60k? Incentivizing people to be stupid ********s just invites more of this nonsense.

Ms. Rachel is a huge problem, though. She should be demonized or at least demonitized on youtube. The fact that she can subtly indoctrinate your kids with woke **** like trans and pro-Hamas support is ridiculous.

It seems the parents were less concerned with development of their child than they were with getting viral tiktok videos of him dominating.

The dad admitted as such when he screamed that they had paid $300 for their kid to play, and that he shouldn't have been pulled.

That brings me to another point that the worst thing about youth sports is the parents. The coaches oftentimes aren't far behind.

If parents redirected their energy from complaining to assisting their children in attaining better grades through tutoring, the overall welfare of society would be significantly improved.

When my son was 4, I coached a team of 4-5 yo in upward flag football. I had one kid who was 5 that could out run any other kid on the field. He had moves he could juke and reverse easily. I would only hand him the ball on 3rd or 4th down because he would score every time.

I told his dad, "you have an exceptional athlete there." He said, yeah it wasn't me, it was his older brother who makes him like that. He chases him around every day and beat him. He's just learned he's has to avoid him if he doesn't want to get beat." His brother was like 8 or 9.

After witnessing the behavior of some of the kids at my daughter's elementary school, my theory is that a disproportionate amount of black parents are teaching their child to be "bold" and "tough" and "outspoken", while every other group generally teaches children to be polite and respectful and to avoid confrontation.

We should be bold and tough in life when appropriate, but you hammer that into a child's head and he is going to take it too literally and apply it in the wrong ways sometimes.

Correction. It would be more like one of the U-15 boys playing on the women's team.

Since the official was telling police that the kid was pushing, and continued to do so when told to stop, he should have just introduced the kid (and the parents) to the concept of a yellow card followed by a red.

What a joke. Maybe I don't understand it yet since we have a toddler about half that age, but how dysfunctional do you have to be to get so mad over little kids playing the littlest of little league sports.

Oh, and Ms. Rachel is banned from our house. We don't even let ours get any screen time yet except for video calls with the grandparents and very rare events that our toddler doesn't even pay attention to. It's not good to just stick them in front of a screen so young. Beyond that, she's just such a trashy, insidious political apparatchik.
