You guys might be missing my point (opinion). For the past 14 years, the insane crazy hate has gotten out of control. If we can find someone that can just hit the reset button, it might just make the extremists just go away, so the middle norm can just take over.

Neither side will let that happen. Doesn't matter who is nominated, the other side will paint them as an extremist. Remember when both McCain and Romney were accused of being far right radicals. I remember. It doesn't get much more middle of the road than those two.

He's from Memphis, and his Dad was a hard corps Memphis Democrat. Nobody should be fooled by a public persona. Fetterman is another example. He says most of the right things, but what's his voting record?

Dems are peddling Talarico as a moderate.

Saner than his father who was known to drive at 80+mph on I-40 between Memphis and Nashville while waving a pistol at cars that would not let him pass. When Tennessee state troopers would pull him over, he would tell them that he was a legislator on the way to the capital for a session of the legislature and they could not detain him.

I try to like Harold, but he always says something really stupid. Like today he said that if smart people are cautioning about AI then we should heed their warnings. One of the "smart" people he mentioned by name was Bernie.

That's complete disqualification right there.

We have a Clinton era Democrat in the White House right now and that's not helping anything to bring the crazy left back to sanity. No further left.

No. Harold Ford would still support the radical left agenda.

The Democratic Party has demonstrated a historical trait. Party members at the local level (city/ county) can be very conservative in their beliefs. However once elected to the state or federal level, they get run over and corrupted by the party machinery and quickly get blackmailed to fall inline with the far left radicals. I also am a fan of Harold Ford, but he is not immune to this Democractic Party disease.

If Harold sees this post he will say "Thank you for including me in your discussion".

Finding a democrat that will be reasonable as a president is kinda like trying to find a friend that will smoke just a little meth with you like a gentlemen. It's not going to work out well for anybody.

The reality is, the Dems have now been lost to weird-haired, chubby communist females who fight the patriarchy but want Daddy government to provide for everything. Because they have not connected the dots on where the money comes from or how electricity gets to the apartment on the 3rd floor. They would be 100% shocked that in a Communist society, it all goes to hell faster than fast.

One side advocates for killing babies. One side advocates for babies to live. There is no in-between. You're either for the murder of children or you arent'. Black and white. No gray.

Sorry, but I will never forgive them for what they have supported and currently support.

You don't get "do-overs" when you support full term abortions, abolishing the police, discrimination in school admissions and the work force based on race and gender, wide open borders, radical islam, psychotic male perverts and freaks in womens sports and locker rooms, George F-ing Floyd, socialism, mastectomies for confused 13 yr old girls, and pretty much everything else they support (it's a loooong list if insane and radical stuff). All while they hate Christianity and normal every day conservatives who just want to live in a normal, sane world, and for their kids to inherit the same.

If I were dictator, I would send probably 50-60% of current modern democrats to mental asylums for clinical help. They embrace countless psychotic stances. I can't even believe it's reality at times.

I was more forgiving before I had kids. Now I find myself increasingly here when it comes to modern democrats...

It would be mostly white liberals. A lot of minorities, particularly Asians/Latinos/Indians/many blacks, are not as fervently and religiously "dug in" as white liberals are.

Like, most Asians do not personally support this degenerate stuff and have strong family units. I think sending most white liberals to mental wards and asylums would get their attention quick...and force them in-line. If not, they go too. I am a benevolent dictator so I am giving them a chance to shun the wickedness and depravity of the left.
