Texas Dem Operative Dishes on 'Shady As ****' Plan to Pay for Votes, Undercover Video Shows

This was released today and is from a Texas Dem Operative that talks about the ways they are trying to get voters to show up for Talarico.

This should get the attention of the AG here in Texas, who happens to be running against the opponent who is getting this "shady" support (shady is the word the Dem operative uses in this video).

The fact that they're resorting to this for Talarico when he's supposedly been 'ahead' in the polls, was outspending Paxton by a long shot all summer, and Paxton being "unpopular" shows things aren't as rosy as their campaign is leading on.

It never has been that rosy, regardless of what the media has been saying and even people on TexAgs. Honestly, if the Dems would have run a truly moderate Dem like say / Mnuchin type there would be a good chance they would win against Paxton…they didn't they decided to run in their primary, a bat s*** crazy black woman, and a "man" that claims he's a pastor.

Y'all getting mad over facts is nuts. This is paid canvassing, spreading the word, the people they are hiring go through a video training.

It doesn't feel like "some folks" actually want to stop illegal voting schemes, like bribes.
That would be more in line with what the OP is looking to point out, surely? Otherwise this thread doesn't make sense?

Tell me you didn't even watch the video without telling me... Did you get your talking points directly from Talarico's campaign or do they get filtered through a PAC or something? They are paying people to attend a seminar where they politic against republicans and "teach them how to vote". That is not "paid canvassers", that is directly paying people that they expect to turn around and vote for them.

I can almost guarantee they also have some follow ups based on requested absentee ballots.This is normal **** in South Dallas. They'll pay canvassers by the vote and there is a kickback system. It's not a ton per vote but it adds up.

Absolute fair point and I will bet it is an unpopular take on F16. Not one of DJT's finer decisions. Now if he comes out and says $5000 in tax deductions, I am in, but that would have been useless because democrat voters are either too rich for taxes or don't pay them.
