Cruz deserved to be booed. The first time he actually takes the lead on some big legislation it turns out he's just pimping for Cody Campbell.

I thought the booing was rude, not surprising for sips, but I also thought the segment was a very bizarre thing to have on for that long at game day. I only saw a few minutes of it while I was getting ready to head out to our game and wasn't really paying close attention, but it was just very, very awkward.

I did pay attention, and it was every bit as awkward as you surmised.

I thought ESPN turned his mic down on the broadcast. All I could hear was the crowd talking.

Are you sure people were complaining that he was there for political reasons? I think it's because of the Red cruz curse. I never want to see him in my teams colors at an event. The record of the team he is supporting when he attends is truly abysmal.

Not everything in the world is red vs blue.

True, but it's more fun to blame Cruz on a loss and maintain the curse is still alive. I also thought A&M was the first to break it as well, but I could be wrong about that.

Cruz could have been talking about puppies and santa claus, they would have booed him. austin is a den of liberal freaks.

#2 is also wrong. ESPN had mic problems multiple times and they 100% back the bill Cruz was pushing.

That's a good point you have Tech pushing this and for the game it's a good thing needs to be some sort of protections for the ncaa like the NFL has. But the 2 major schools us and tu benefit from having no rules so this is interesting maybe he is just acting.
