Meet Angie Baez. She rose up as one of the founders of a Queer/BIPOC talent agency

Then she was a director of JP Morgan's DEI Department

When DEI became unpopular, JP Morgan chose her as Executive Director of Community and Industry Engagement.

Lately - well I guess she is a Knicks fan. And she moonlights as a waste engineer.




After getting identified as the trash can thief (limited edition Knick's trashcan) and seen in many video of her carting her ill-gotten gains home on the subway, JP Morgan fired her.

Workers whose primary attribute is their identity will never contribute in a good organization. When you coddle these workers, they literally think they are above the law.

Jamie Dimon, JP Morgan CEO, needs to rethink his strong support of DEI. But he won't.

As far as Angie - properly relegated to the trash bin of X videos. She should have no problem replacing her mid 6-figure salary selling trashcans on Ebay. The perfect DEI trope.

Not quite what I expected. I thought she had already been fired, and she only work she could find was dumping out trash cans at MSG.

I guess now she can make a career of that if she wishes.

This is exactly what you're going to produce when you support DEI. She was nothing but a POS who espoused racist and sexist ideology and was paid well for it.

The irony is that cow probably didn't watch 3 seconds of the Knicks… ever… and could not name a player on the team.

Also, me thinks this created a very easy way to get rid of a problem. Now… who represents her in wrongful termination and defamation against JP Morgan?

She obviously recognized the trash bin as a security risk and searched the container thoroughly before removing it from being a threat to the public.

She's really a hero.

Truer words have never been uttered.

I see this phenomenon playing out for all group who are "protected". 25 years ago, I worked at a company as an individual contributor and the manager made me "mentor" to this black guy called Wayne. Wayne was really really lazy and he showed up to work only after 10am, if at all. He's leave around 3pm and never inform anyone, just take off.

Since he was protected as a black person, the manager could not fire him or even discipline him. So she made me his "mentor" so I was responsible for getting him to do his work and this sob never did anything and so I was saddled with the work of two people and the manager got away from being labeled a racist.

Of course they did. All of F500 did this out of peer pressure, left wing shareholder demand, and run amok HR departments.

It's been refreshing to watch the partial retreat of this movement in corporate America. My old company consolidated their DEI VP into some other role and then ultimately it just died on the vine. The last person that was in it apparently left and went back to a real job. Those roles literally do nothing and produce nothing.
