Anyone following the Hello Fresh Pride Month marketing on X that is causing a furor today?



The original post on X was to tease recipes for high fiber meals to colon blast those that want to prep for Pride Month. Now they are offering a discount if you use the code BottomsUp at checkout.

When I think of a business providing fresh meals and food I don't want to associate their product with "prepping" for the activities they are teasing there. I think this isn't going to end well for them.

We used hello fresh quite a bit. We really enjoyed it but no more. I'm not one to just cancel a company but this was disgusting.

Honestly, if they just did the standard we support the lgbtq community post, I wouldn't have really given it much thought.

I'm not offended or disgusted, but I think their marketing team has lost the plot that they're selling food services. Food services that I and likely others will now always equate to ***** Actual ***** Doesn't make me too hungry.

I hope this goes as well as Bud Lights disaster a couple years ago. We have done Hello Fresh in the past. Thought it was reasonable, especially with a discount code, good food, and we enjoyed some variety. Absolutely will never ever purchase again.

What happened to "Republicans buy sneaker too", MJ's famous line? You run a huge risk of losing more customers than gaining with a campaign like this. The point is to expand your customer base. Not only is it disgusting it's just bad business.

That is a wildly absurd ad campaign. If I'm gay, I would be pretty offended by that because it just perpetuates that the only thing gays care about is having anal sex.

So, instead of pushing an adult, mature theme during Pride month this food company goes all-in on the anal sex angle. It's extremely gross.
