I saw this interview the other day. Somehow her stuff got picked up by the algorithm and injected into my doom scrolling. Though most of her videos were so disjointed I had trouble following.

I really like how this one though very quickly dispelled a lot of the social media banter.
It wasn't a no bid contract.

It's not Trump's buddy from Florida

I've said before, and I'll say it again. The biggest mistake the Democrats made was contesting Trump in 2020. Forget anything nefarious in the election. Doesn't matter. The Democrats should not have seriously contested the election.

Donald Trump went back to Florida unlike any former President in modern history. His businesses are by and large, stable, mature, and run day to day by trusted associates. Meaning he doesn't have to deal with the day to day issues, but is still sufficiently wealthy. He took back to Florida a trusted inner circle of WH associates and ALL of the inside knowledge about exactly how Washington DC and realistically the whole world works.

In 2016 Trump ran on "Drain the Swamp." In truth he didn't know the first thing about the swamp. Now he had 4 full years to plan his reelection and a comprehensive plan for the whole of the US. Think of it as a 4 year session with all of his best advisors playing Risk. Who do we put in what department, what staffers are loyal, who isn't. What do we do if XYZ happens, how do we respond. Who do we trust, who gets fired, who is promoted.

2017 -- 2021 I think that in truth he was barely keeping ahead of the next Democrat attack. By Jan 2025 he had every bit of that mapped out with plans largely already in place. I think projects, this reflecting pool is a great example, he simply did not have the bandwidth to get to it.
