Seth Harp doxxed a Delta Force Commander.

Quote:

The House Oversight Committee voted on Wednesday to subpoena Rolling Stone contributing editor Seth Harp after he shared a picture and biography of a Delta Force commander that he said played a central role in the recent U.S. military operation in Venezuela.

Harp posted the commander's biography which included the officer's first and last name and the fact he had a wife and five daughters to X on Sunday. The journalist later claimed X locked his account until he deleted the post, according to a Monday statement he posted on the social media platform.

Courtney Williams was likely the source.

Leaks in this community are a problem…lots of guys saying classified stuff on podcasts, books, etc. to make $$$.

She knew what she did was wrong and deserves punishment.

We know what the punishment is for this but she'll end up in a Supermax. Which is still a living hell but not a public hanging.

you really think she will be convicted and go to a maximum security prison?

I am just hoping for a felony conviction and some time at the minimum security spa in Georgia

And isn't he just as guilty of seeking that info? I'd be fine with a member of media facing the gallows.

Most likely outcome, although I haven't read the book. If I had to bet, none of what she disclosed is new to the public. I.e. previously talked about in a podcast, web post, etc. by an operator. If you actually know the security classification guidance, you realize you see leaks almost daily on this stuff. Her problem is it appears she put a bunch of stuff together and gave it in a nice package to a journalist.

Guarantee she had an NDA. And she may have disclosed techniques and methods which may have been rumored about, but she provided confirmation and gave specifics.

She also communicated that she was worried about being arrested for giving the info out.

Women. Hah

Women and men are fundamentally different in their mindset and attitudes. We see this throughout history.

Men are loyal to their country, team, group, tribe. Win or lose, men will fight for their unit. There are some exceptions always but in general, this is right.
Women tend to move towards "the strongest entity". It might, but that does not necessarily need to be their country, team, group or tribe. It just means the winner.

So if a country A defeats B in a battle, don't be surprised of the women from Country B (loser) start to get enamored by the warriors from country A (winner).

This is simple male and female psychology based on evolution and also something that I have observed in different non-battle scenarios.

Bottom-line is don't send women to war and if you do, don't trust them to fight for you.
