I consider this political because of the BS hypersensitive nature of today's society due to the political climate these days and the obsession of over protection of certain classes of people. Here a 22 year old kid is joking with his buddies mocking the way a guy talks who's not actually even gay. He just has a very feminine voice but he's dating some instagram Onlyfans ass model.


In this 57-second clip from a WhatNot Racing livestream where NASCAR driver Daniel Dye imitates IndyCar driver David Malukas in a high-pitched voice during a trading card break, referencing racing events like St. Petersburg and Indianapolis while joking about ovals and team affiliations.

The imitation, described by Dye as a "gay voice," prompted NASCAR to suspend him indefinitely on March 18, 2026, for inappropriate conduct, highlighting tensions between humor in motorsports streaming and sensitivity to stereotypes.

With 760,000 views and 109 replies, the post fuels polarized discussions, including defenses of comedic intent from within the LGBTQ+ community and criticisms labeling it as harmful gay-bashing.

IMHO the entire thing is BS.

Should not have apologized. People do trump voices all the time, Chappel did his "white voice", people have done gay voices forever. Giant nothing burger.

Trying to strip normal male behavior. Met a couple of guys for the first time playing golf a couple of days ago and we started talking **** before the first tee shot. Sports, games, gatherings, it's just gonna happen with normal males and I guess that's why these betas and progressives get so worked up since they don't know how to join in.

The two things that will ruin you instantly in this culture is saying the n-word (if you're white) and using a gay slur (if you're straight). None of these rules apply to blacks or gays.

I think this was all about Dye impugning the good name of Penske. You assail the name and character of one of the standards of motorsports you're going to pay the price. If the target had been some also ran team nothing would have been made of it. And I'm no fan of Penske or any of his teams.

NASCAR is dying already and they don't know what to do. A good portion of their hardcore fan base have already aged out and Gen Z and whatever you call teens now don't have the same obsession with car culture and racing. Their management over the last ten years is very similar to what major corporations did thinking to survive in the future they had to embrace the woke movement. All of a sudden they don't like the culture of the fans that made the sport what it became 25-30 years ago in its prime.

NASCAR has self castrated itself years ago. They can't help themselves from trying to be woke like other professional sports.

Indefinite suspension for this …….ok sure.

Make up a fake noose story and get rewarded.

What's next an alphabet sponsored car! Maybe they can get the former transportation secretary to be the driver. He probably has more free time since he's hopefully done breast feeding.

I'm a HUGE NASCAR fan. I do fantasy, DFS, wager on it...love the sport. That being said, I don't know a single rainbow warrior (not talking about Jeff Gordon) that watches NASCAR, nor have I seen one at any races. If it weren't for effing Bubba Wallace, this would've been laughed at by everyone. It's like NASCAR made it a requirement to coddle the fans that Bubba brought into the sport. With a black driver, the wokeness crowd has to be appeased at all costs, otherwise they're deemed as racist. It's getting tired. Hell, Bill Lester appeared in some races in 2006 yet there was none of this crap. Says a lot about the times we live in.

That being said, it's always a delight when Bubba gets the hell booed out of him during driver intros at basically every single track.
