I shoot competitively, and there is a group of people with HARD left-leaning views who shoot our matches regularly. One guy in particular is a very well-known and highly regarded shooter who competes in some of the toughest "brutality" matches there are (if you don't know those matches, look up Forgotten Weapons on YouTube and look at his Finnish Brutality or similar match videos). Its an interesting group of people, that's for sure.

The club where I am a member is black powder and muzzle loader centric. A couple of the guys on the board are hard core Democrats based on the bumper stickers on their trucks, but they are more yellow dogs than today's neo-commies. We also don't talk politics on the firing line.
