Very interesting segment. I wish we could do something about these presidential pardons. A lot of presidents have abused this power.

The chess/boxing segment is literally the only thing that looked halfway interesting or relevant.

Seven year old me would have been all over that as a career.

Not saying anything about who any president pardons/has pardoned...

BUT....

The pardon power is one of the checks the Executive has against the Judiciary that is built into the Constitution.

I don't think the power should be wielded willy nilly, but should be used in extreme situations where the Judiciary has overstepped.

Objectivity? Autopen is a big nothing burger. Where is it said that autopen can't be used for pardons?

I don't like the idea of it but nobody is pursuing this, including Republicans. Nothing will change if it's talked about.
