GOOD morning to the 12th man!

Ten and Oh-my, we are good. This season has been the most exciting football since 2012, wouldn't you say? On top of that, the sips lose, 'bama loses, and a state trooper loses. What fun. I was up late watching reactions from podcasters and fans from all over. Texas A&M football is an item nationally. I am so proud of this team, but the prize lies still ahead. One game at a time, and FINISH! I think you all feel the same.

Us coming back from that deficit was the ONE for the playbooks, for sure. tu losing was icing on the cake, and the trooper getting his ass handed to him for being a ***** was an early Christmas gift. He knew better and Texans demand better from their LEOs.

So, yeah, it's a great day to celebrate a season that has been the best one in a long time.

The lawyer one hit home. Back in the day our weekly bar journal had a feature entitled, "Wish I hadn't asked that". But when so many of the things you say are being recorded or written down, the flubs inevitably happen. Everyone sounds like a doofus at one point or another.

But that particular question was funny because it recently happened to a Special Prosecutor cross examining a pathologist in the Karen Read trial. "How many autopsies have you performed on dead people? Answer: "All of them."

Thanks for the laughs and decompression from the roller coaster that was yesterday.

Thank you for that. Ruby is a wonderful puppy. I am so blessed to have her. Babe, my 'new' pitbull and she are best friends. He weighs about 60 lb. and she is just over 10 lb. She crawls all over him and they play a little rough but she can handle it. I told Babe I wanted him to be her protector when I got her, and he is. Today when we went to our favorite private park, Ruby was with Willie, my chiweenie, about 200 feet away from us. Babe saw them and ran over to watch her. It's really something to see. Hope to have pictures soon.

Rocky, you are a genius, and a maestro of memes. Thanks for the great laughs every week.

When I'm in public, my sense of humor is always on alert. It's like my brain has a rolodex of funny things to say at the appropriate moment. What I really enjoy doing is spontaneous humor, where I can't explain where what I said that got a laugh came from. It's weird but it's also a gift from God.

My favorite is the one I spontaneously used about 15 years ago. It came out of nowhere but it just made sense to say it, and I use it all the time now. When I was being screened by a staffer at my doctor's office, they always ask if I'm allergic to any medications. My answer is, "I dunno. I haven't tried them all yet." It always gets a laugh.

When my Mom had her stroke and I was with her at the ER, nurses kept asking me which medications she was on. "Uhm, Alleve?" She hated taking drugs of any kind. They kept telling me it was impossible an 88 year
old woman was not on multiple prescribed medicines and a lot of them.

I was under stress obviously and finally yelled, "Well it worked until she was 88! Didn't it?"
