Considering that over the past 5 years, inductees (to name just a few) have included the Notorious BIG, the Go-Go's, Jay-Z, Lionel Richie, Missy Elliott, Mary J. Blige, Cyndi Lauper and Outkast.... do you really think there's any legitimacy to the "Rock & Roll" Hall of Fame?

I did not know this - Hall and freaking Oates are in there - it is joke. They have turned it into the pop HOF because they are running out of true R&R bands to induct and they don't have Ted - seriously WTF

They didn't run out of real rock bands, they largely bypassed them from the beginning in favor of PC choices like Miles Davis or inexplicable non rock people like Dolly Parton.

Ted Nugent was in Amboy Dukes, had a huge solo career and finished in Damn Yankees. Everything he did turned to gold. Then he switched his main focus to hunting and 2A issues and that was successful. He will probably never get in because of his non music pursuits.

His live version of "Great White Buffalo" is pretty awesome and speaks of the European settlers stupidity towards the buffalo and Indians/Native Americans. He would be in if it were really a "Rock" HOF but it's not. It's really more a "PC popular music" HOF and a hollow award IMO.

Maybe I am just not a fan, but this seems more like "Hall of OK" than "Hall of Fame."

I had never really paid that much attention to this issue until I watched YouTube video about how a lot of metal bands have been passed over. They covered Steve Miller's induction indepth and how he was treated. I will go back to ignoring the RnRHOF and keep listening to music in like.

Old old old old people really love Ted. I'm not sure having your base of support being old qualifies you for the Hall of Fame.

The age of your fanbase has nothing to do with an induction into a HoF, but given that most artists being inducted had their peak popularity 40+ years ago then it shouldn't be surprising that their fans are going to be older.

It's a HoF, not a current Top 40 countdown...
