The crazy thing is that people looked at places like London, Los Angeles,, Paris, Portland, Seattle, Baltimore, and said "lets combine all these Bat S crazy policies in put them into place in the biggest and most important city in the world.
I wanted Mandami to win. Liberals need to feel pain. And on a personal level I want them to. I just hope the bad policies start taking effect immediately while Trump is in office so he can deny them any help.

Nevermind the fact almost all of the campaign promises he made cannot be accomplished unilaterally by the mayoral office of NYC.

Sure is, comical to sit around and read all these doom and gloom posts about New York City. It's comical to think that after what everyone has witnessed what the machine does to someone that goes against the system that they actually think that a dweeb like this Mandami character is gonna be able to just turn the system upside down down without being ground up like hamburger meat. Manhattan went after Donald Trump with everything they had and he overcame them, but that's Donald Trump. If you actually think that this character Mandami has the wherewithal and the stamina to withstand all that will come after him, I got news for you, he'll collapse like a folding chair. He sold that chicken in every pot story to a bunch of idiot kids and people that have no clue but when it comes down to the big money and the machine, he doesn't stand a chance.

I think you misunderstand the mandate. You can say he can't do stuff he says legally, but did that stop Seattle and Portland? The judiciary is already against common sense, so they'll do what they always do, ignore the laws, do it anyway, and tie these things up in court while the city turns into a hellscape. Use San Francisco and Portland as examples.
edit to say: thats why Ive all but lost hope. Like Titan said, Trump wasn't a change of the political direction in this country, he's just a speedbump. When he's gone this accelerates.

The guy is an inexperienced idiot. This reminds me of when the idiots elected Lina "Dora" Hidalgo to be the Harris County Judge. She had no idea what she was doing.

Far more time, effort, and money was spent in coming after Trump than will ever be directed toward this muslim.

Obama as well. Guy was literally a nobody until his 2008 DNC speech.
Obama and Mandami knew how to say all the right things and both are slick. That's all it takes to get the NPCs to vote for you.

The collapse of the Soviet Union happened 34 years ago, meaning people younger than 45 have no real recollection of it. California started on its downhill slide in the 60's as did most of the other cities and states mentioned. Watching NYC go down in flames will be something all these white liberal women, millennials and college educated brainwashed urban and suburbanites can witness in real time. When it hits home and people see the economic impact and social impact all these communist/Marxist policies bring maybe a large enough group of them wake up and see the light. Or at least realize that conservatives and republicans are not the enemy they've been programmed to believe they are.

And if you say "how can you wish pain on your fellow Americans" I'll straight up tell you that I dont recongize them as Americans anymore. I have noting in common with those people and look at them as the enemies of not only the country but humanity. They just put a lot of innocent people in extreme and immediate danger.
I just hope the bad policies start taking effect immediately while Trump is in office so he can deny them any help.

I've said more than a few times, that one of the worst things that happened to this country was the fall of the Soviet Union.
Before that, there was a clear distinction between the two systems.
Capitalism vs. Socialism/Communism
Freedom vs. Total State Control
Freedom of Speech vs. State Mandated Speech
Freedom of Religion vs. State Mandated Atheism
Fair Elections vs. Elections everyone knew were a farce.
Equal Opportunity vs. State Mandated Equality of Misery (except for the elites)
Neighbors Helping Neighbors vs. Neighbors Spying on Neighbors
Freedom to Choose Your Path in Life vs. State Controlled Life
When it fell, that very clear and contrast disappeared.
This is why GenX is the most conservative generation right now. We grew up at the end of the Cold War, and we all remember Ronald Reagan.

The people that voted for this will always vote for this because they are not linear thinkers . The don't understand cause and effect. They are just blinded by the promise of free stuff.
I watched his victory speech last night. First I had really paid attention to him. He is a slick one. I had not felt a chill like that since Obama's 2004 keynote address. He has a vibe of the serpent in the Garden of Eden with all his pandering and promises. Watch out for this guy. He is going to wreck a lot of lives
