He was a good leader and well spoken. I think he was a strong presence when Bush needed one. Shame he tarnished his legacy by going after Trump. Never understood Republicans attacking other Republicans when there's so much evil on the left. Literally the worst Republican is better than the best dem.

My take is that Cheney and his ilk considered themselves kingmakers. When Trump showed the way without the Cheneys, the Cheneys took it personally. So did a lot of establishment Republicans.

Power is a hard thing to relinquish. Just ask Obama.

Call Trump whatever you want...a "coward" is not one of them. And calling him the greatest ever threat to the republic when you have the Democrats openly embracing socialism/communism is beyond cluelessness. Dick Cheney seems to have Billy Kristoled himself towards the end.

That's fine. On the day that he died, just say "Condolensces" or nothing at all. Virtue signaling and positing for blue stars is just silly.

Dems will have a tough time reconciling his death, on one hand they believed him to be the most evil man on the planet during the Bush years. On the other hand, they cheered on his criticism of all things Trump…will be interesting to see their response to his death.
