lol, right? We're in an ice age - an interglacial period. If warming makes sea levels rise and puts Manhattan Island under water, it would suck for some people, but no one will die. Manhattan Island under a mile thick sheet of ice would mean billions would die around the world. A warmer, greener planet would be good for humans. .

Mars has no ability to keep an atmosphere because the core is dead. It does not generate a magnetic field to deflect charged solar particles.

You could release all of the greenhouse gases you want, and they would just be blown away by solar wind.

Elon has a bias towards "climate change" bc TSLA profitability depends on it. Solar City and EVs get subsidies and incentives based on "climate change". Its also part of the SpaceX multiplanitary rationale.

For every $10 trillion that gets redistributed to brown people, the Earth's climate cools 1/10 of one degree Fahrenheit. It's science.

He isn't the first to propose this but the issue will be that plants need that sunlight, so yes you reduce the thermal radiation but you also reduce the the light used for photosynthesis.

Maybe he does it over the ocean? (Just talking out my ass now)
