As we speak, the remaining hostages and being reunited with their families. The fighting has stopped. The people of Gaza are getting aid to hopefully begin to build their society.

Who else in the world could have pulled this off? God knows, they've tried. Biden certainly did.

But it took the strong will and leadership of President Trump to get these two sides to back away from war and try to find a path forward.

Will there be an end to war between these two? Probably not forever, but right now it should be taken one day at a time. But one thing we know for sure is this never would have happened without the leadership of Prescient Trump.

All civilized people should thank and praise him for making this happen.

There is absolutely nothing, I mean nothing, Trump could do that would make the far left happy. They will find a way if they haven't already to criticize peace.

Watching President Trump's speech in Jerusalem and it's pretty amazing. It's not your normal buttoned up speech, it's pure Trump, levity, and off the cuff. A lot of laughter and smiling faces in the Israeli Knesset. He's close to roasting Bibi.

What Wabs said. It will be like "did he really broker this deal? There was going to be peace eventually; he is just taking credit".

And there's the talking points.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

A short 9 months into his 2nd term, he's obliterated Irans nuke program, marginalized Putin, working to isolate China, bolstering America first and in his spare time drove hard for peace between Israel and its hateful neighbors.

And folks used scoff at the concept of Trump being on Mt Rushmore. But I am not starting to think Mt Rushmore is not a big enough recognition for Trump.

Maybe name cities and states after him.

He is the most consequential leader America has had in decades if not all time. All should take time today to reflect on Trump and his leadership, deification, diplomacy.

God Bless Donald J Trump.

Literally asked Herzog to pardon Bibi in front of everyone. Talk about letting your balls hang, there's no POTUS ever that would have tried that in public on a world wide broadcast. Told the world that Marco Rubio was the greatest Secretary of State in US History. Threw Biden and Obama under the bus and had the crowd cheering and in stitches. Pure Trump production at its finest. A couple of Knesset protesters did their normal thing but it was pretty amazing to watch.

The MSM is largely ignoring the entire thing or at least its significance. They'll find little some personal stories where someone got ****ed over by the peace deal and run with it.

I am no fan of Trump and I think he's generally a disaster and bad for America.

That being said, this is an unqualified Good Trump thing. I'm glad he helps get the hostages released.

I respect this position. Regardless of all the other misgivings one may have, one cannot honestly criticize peace.

Of course, some are so colored by their hatred of Trump, they can't help themselves. Go look at X to find plenty of them.

I am not convinced this war is over because Hamas is a terrorist organization and cannot be trusted. They will start killing and taking hostages soon enough sadly,

That said, Trump negotiating just a cease fire and being able to get the hostages released was an amazing feat!! he deserves all the credit that is being bestowed on him, and then some!!

Where is the poster that said Netanyahu needs to go? Sad day for the Hamas apologists!

If the president was a Dem this board would be focused on the part of the deal where 2000 terrorists were released in the exchange.

But it is unquestionably good that the hostages are home and a ceasefire is in place.

Israel releasing a huge number of prisoners happens every single time a deal is made to end the latest war the Palestinians started. It is not something new because of Trump.

Yes, dealing with Hamas is very similar to dealing America's left.

Fixed it to reflect a dem negotiated deal.

The living hostages are home. There will always be opportunity to kill the released terrorists once they break the deal.

This is a completely idiotic statement and so typically short sighted. Most of this board understands the word compromise, where both parties have to give up something in a successful, tough negotiation. Unfortunately, we have the 20-30% of the right and likely 90% of the left that don't understand that concept anymore.

Quit hoping for more war. Bibi does need to go. He's a corrupt piece of you know what and has been dodging his corruption trial under the guise of this war, for years now.

Trump got this deal done, not Bibi, not anyone else.

Agreed.

As soon as the 20 are back, Netanyahu needs to resume annihilating Hamas because they aren't going to disarm as required by the agreement and they aren't going to stand down as leaders of Gaza. They've already pushed back and said they won't.

Of course you do. You clearly think having unelected bureaucrats none of us can identify running the country is how things should work.

Yet you're acknowledging you're wrong without even knowing it.
