Kendrix white murdered ut student Harrison brown by stabbing him to death. White also injured three others in this attack.

White was found not guilt by way of insanity.

He has a hearing Wednesday to determine if he has been rehabilitated enough to released back out into society. Ianal, but my understanding is this guy cannot be retried for the murder since he was found innocent by way of insanity.

Let me just put this out there- if you murder someone, then are found ngri, you should still never see the light of day again.

The killer of my kid would never see the light of day outside of prison again, legally or illegally. I'd drop that f***** the second he walks out of confinement.

If he wasn't tired for the other people injured, he could be and sent to prison on those charges.

But this is Travis County, no way they'd do that.

And right now, the killer might be perfectly fine, because he's on meds. If he gets out, he'll stop taking them again and will likely kill again.
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

I'll be the contrarian. If he was insane at the time, then he is not culpable. If he is now no longer insane, then he's free because he was not guilty. That's what the law says anyway.

And that's absurd - if you are capable of going out of your mind once, it can happen again. I presume he now has meds to treat the condition, but what if he goes off his meds? He still needs supervision.

Do you see all these crazies running around major cities??? The ones attacking/murdering productive citizens, when they are not having screaming matches with themselves with their peckers hanging on Main Street. These are the same crazies that the left "deinstitutionalized" and repeatedly told us, once out on the streets they would take their medicine.
Throw away the key; he will always be a ticking time bomb on the streets of Texas.

Maybe the people who makes the decision to release him, should they decide that, be liable for his behavior once he's out

He's a few missed doses of killing again, and those doses will be missed within a very short tame of release. Someone like this is the absolute least likely to be rehabilitated. He's broken and needs to be taken behind the barn and put down like a rabid dog. Mental illness should never be an excuse to escape proper punishment

No. The proven murderously mental should be disposed of. The criteria being -- if sane would you agree with your penalty, answer should be yes. If you would make excuses, should be rid of anyway. So it works out either way.

The motives or mental state of the subway killer should be irrelevant.

Look at the killer. Look at the victim. Pretty high odds the people deciding the killer's fate are liberals.

Violence against whites is slowly being decriminalized.
EX TEXASEX

I actually agree with you 100%. You are just as dead if you are killed by Ted Bundy or some random schizophrenic. The left's war against capital punishment has been successful to the point that it is difficult to get generic scum executed nowadays. I think somebody with mental illness will never be executed no matter how heinous the crime is. So that is why I said lock them up for life. I am fine with executing people with mental illness who do horrendous things. I mean you could argue that sociopaths / psychopath are also a victim of their DNA too, and most normal people have no problem executing them.

We need to abolish the insanity defense altogether.

To me (a non murderer), anybody who commits murder is insane. No point arguing over to what degree.

True story.

100%. If someone commits a death penalty level crime, they are broken. Period. If they want to get them treatment while inside, fine. But it should be a non-factor in guilt or innocence as well as punishment.

Kendrex White should never be released from the mental hospital. This is another example of how liberals' criminal justice reforms have endangered law-abiding US citizens.
