" Around 8:30 p.m. local time Monday, Copenhagen's international airport shut down and flights were rerouted after drones were spotted in their airspace. The Oslo airport shut down at around midnight local time."

" Danish police could not confirm the number or identify the type of drones spotted at Copenhagen Airport, but one officer told reporters the aircraft appeared to be flown by a "capable operator" who wanted to "show off."

" In Norway, Oslo Airport was closed around the same time after a "drone observation." In recent years, Norway has experienced several drone-related incidents, including sightings near its offshore oil platforms.
The still mysterious drone activity at the two civilian airports comes just two weeks after Russian drones violated Polish airspace overnight between Sept. 9 and 10, in which some European officials said was an attempt to test NATO readiness and response capabilities. Some of the Russian drones were shot down, but others evaded interception."

Of course it's Russia, which issued denials.
Maybe the Europeans will get deadly serious and shoot these da**ed things down instead of just shutting down the airports.

Oh please...
"If you will not fight for right when you can easily win without blood shed; if you will not fight when your victory is sure and not too costly; you may come to the moment when you will have to fight with all the odds against you and only a precarious chance of survival. There may even be a worse case. You may have to fight when there is no hope of victory, because it is better to perish than to live as slaves." - Sir Winston Churchill

Why didn't they sink the damn ship? Are they waiting until a plane full of civilians goes down?

EU doesn't have the balls or skills for a hot war with Russia lasting more than a month (in spite of their rhetoric). Putin has already shown that he's willing to sacrifice lots and lots of life and $$$ to fight Ukraine.

He don't gaf. The euros will fold like a cheap suit. Just like they're about to do at the Ryder cup this week.

I'm honestly a little surprised that the Ukes haven't managed to get some drones onto a small container ship and then use that to go after Russian shipping in the Baltic Sea. It would be much harder for them to operate in Asia, fewer places to port or get overt or covert support from regional governments.

Turkey is pretty strict about letting military assets go through the strait. Ukraine would have to be covert, and if caught, puts Turkey in a bad spot. They could go through another country's ports, but then whether or not it violates Russia's ever moving red line would be the question.

Totally get that. You could get some drones put into containers though and get them either up to the coast up north with Poland's help or sneak them through Turkey in the containers. You don't make it an exclusive drone ship for transiting the Bosporus, you mix those in with the other stuff. I can't imagine the Turks thoroughly screen all the stuff coming through any more than we do. But again, I don't run missions and the risk is very high but hitting Russia's ghost fleet seems like it should be a highish priority for impacting Russia's income flows.
