This thread is about the new Victoria,tx/Texas A&M campus, NOT College Station!!!

So Texas A&M has recently acquired UH-Victoria, and lo and behold look what we are about to do. Come on folks, do you actually expect a different result with this one? Victoria County and those who pay taxes here are quite red on the political scale. I doubt they want more woke kids running around, AND it's quite doubtful they want more white, straight, "normal" kids getting screwed over since the preference is ALWAYS gonna the other types.

I don't get it. "I'm an Aggie, let me shoot myself in the foot." If DEI is in prominently in their work history, RED FLAGS SHOULD FLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

If anyone has an in with Hegar or BOR, might be a good idea to hit them up.

Texas A&M is just a very poorly run system. I'm not sure how it is this bad, but it continues to surprise.

Hispanic Serving Institution is just a school that has at least 25% hispanic students. It's a Federal Department of Education Term that unlocks funding through the Higher Education Act of 1965.

Those matters are not my perview, but could suggest a question. Since all (seem to) agree that you should not have Nazism principles being taught and pushed in college by instructore, there is scarcely such a Prof to be found, for even the fascist viewpont (again, this seems agree good) WHY is Marxism allowed? Simple question. Really simple. We fought world wars against both. The style of the Cold War was different, but it was one. Maybe even more expensive than WW II.

The board of regents suck. Every single one of them should be removed, they might be good people but they are absolutely god awful at fulfilling their responsibilities

And why exactly do they do that?

The fact that counting numbers helps them qualify for federal funding is not the issue. They don't need to broadcast their counting in a manner that is exclusionary. Everything that bears the label DEI is tainted. Our institutions, especially those whose "management" is appointed by a supposedly conservative governor, need to move away from it.
