Seems like only yesterday that the Summer of Love swept the country and provided the only acceptable excuse to ignore quarantine and social distancing.

I gave a star to the OP

I am still not sure how to process that whole event.

I have sons and if they had done what Kyle did I would have been off the charts infuriated because I am not willing to risk my sons incarceration and therefore the forfeit of their lives.

At the same time, Kyle did not act outside the law. I am still shocked that a jury in WI, swing state or not, did not convict him. Of course I am happy they did not.

Great memes though. I don't give an F about dead or maimed commies.

That black dude was the luckiest person of the whole night. He was closer to being dead than Trump was.

I'm a big fan of the Kenosha Kickers. Gus Polinski was a musical genius.

I thought Kyle didn't even (couldn't?) fire at him since he didn't present a threat after jump kicking him?

Right after that is when skateboard ****** got perforated for trying to bash Kyle's head in and "stonewashed jeans guy" took off. Then Grosskreutz engaged him with a loaded pistol and got lost his ability to bear arms.

Technically, that black guy was infinitely safer than anyone else because of Kyle's fantastic discipline.

Kyle shot at him too. You can see in the video the trail smoke go in front of his face. He just missed shooting that guy under the chin. Pretty sure homeboy broke his ankle too when he landed.

The prosecutors, Binger and Krause (a/k/a Fluffer Boi and Lunch Box, respectively) tried every dirty trick in the book to convict Kyle, to the point of causing a mistrial. But Judge Schroeder was too chicken to declare it.

Cory Chirafisi's cross of Gaige was masterful getting him to admit that Kyle only fired AFTER he pointed his loaded handgun at Kyle's head.

So, not a mistrial then

Had Kyle been convicted, it would have been quickly reversed on appeal. A prosecutor CANNOT comment upon a criminal defendant's assertion of 5th amendment rights in front of a jury. Which is exactly what Binger did, among other things.

Interesting. I do remember that they continued to refer to him as "stonewashed jeans guy" or something along those lines implying they did not know who he was, but did in fact know and did not call him or list him as a potential witness.

I'm more than happy to admit to being wrong.

Yep. Thanks for the refresher.

Interestingly, Jump Kick Guy came forward and talked to the prosecutors but apparently he wanted some immunity for some other charges before he would agree to testify. Binger refused and actually hid the guy's identity from defense counsel. Mark Richards did not find that out until very late in the trial or during jury deliberations.

There was also the highly functioning autistic guy, photographer, DeBruin. who accused Binger and Krause of trying to get him to change his testimony. And when he was called by the defense, he showed up with all of these blown up pictures of what he had filmed that night. Defense counsel did not know he was going to do that but he was very effective.

And then on cross, Binger and Krause were focused on the sullying of their names instead of his actual testimony. But DeBruin held his ground under their pounding.

Nope, he did what his COMMUNITY asked for from the Gov but the Gov failed to provide.

We know the Gov and others held back so the rioters could burn everything down. I hope in the future we have more young people like him willing to do what it takes to defend the people from the animals.

was thinking about him this past weekend when i threw soapy water on a wasp nest that was on my parents dock. Watching the little buggers fall and get scooped up by all the perch that were lurking below was about the most satisfying sight since seeing Rittenhouse sweeping the streets of Kenosha.

Thankfully the trial turned out the way it did. I don't know how anyone watching the tape could come to any other conclusion other than self-defense.

I think he also lost the right to bare arms.

Or at least one of them

I understood where Binger got his marching orders when I saw his boss, DA Graves (I think) in the Zachariah Anderson trial. Just an overzealous prosecutor with a win at all costs mentality. Truly deplorable human beings.

So would you be fine with your minor teenage son doing the same? When there's a riot in town, take him to the gun store to get his own AR-15, then drop him off downtown? "Good luck, son. Practice good trigger discipline, and watch your six!"

Such a complete lie of what happened with Rittenhouse. Not even close.
