The IRS Whistleblowers that exposed illegal activity in the Clinton Foundation finances are seeking a monetary award for a portion of the funds that were recovered from the Clinton Foundation. However, the Trump-Bondi DoJ is petitioning the court to dismiss the case because the DoJ (under Eric Holder and then Jeff Session) shut down the investigation and refused to prosecute the Clinton Foundation. That does not negate the fact that the Clinton Foundation made restitution for the "errors" uncovered by the whistle blowers and they are supposed to get a share of the recovered revenue.

Pam Bondi and Kash Patel have not taken action to restore whistleblowers and make right what they lost for speaking up. If the whistleblowers that were persecuted during the Obama, Trump 45, and Biden administrations do not get their jobs and financial losses restored by Trump 47, nobody will ever take the personal risk to blow the whistle again. Whistleblowers are getting no support or thanks from President Trump.

Pretty infuriating, agreed.

Likely what the uniparty wants to happen. Whistleblowers are ruining their game so it's time to silence them

FIFY. Let the process play out. Sometimes you need to get your ducks lined up in a row. You are fighting an entrenched enemy and full frontal assaults lead to heavy casualties.

Maybe this is why...

Elections are when people find out what politicians stand for, and politicians find out what people will fall for.

Why would they petition the court to dismiss the case altogether?

In what process does that make sense?

How much process is needed to put someone back on the payroll with retroactive seniority? They can argue over back pay in the courts but these people are still ostracized and out of a job with no prospects of employment with their security clearances revoked in reprisal for speaking up. In many cases, the guilty parties have been fired but the whistleblowers are still out in the cold.
