This entire article is very good. And spot on. He talks about getting fired from a movie set about his disagreement is on Covid and the fact that Colbert lost so much money on the show as well.

Colbert gets crash course in what freedom of speech really means.

Respectfully, Steven Colbert has been doing nothing but wafer-thinly disguised Democratic propaganda talking points for the last eight years plus. While I completely support Mr. Colbert's freedom of speech, his utter disdain for half of America and every swing state, greatly diminished his audience potential...

…I also respect Colbert's direct criticism of his employer, CBS/Paramount and his opinion that they caved to President Trump…That took guts, I will give him that.

But Colbert, like ABC late night host Jimmy Kimmel, excluded conservatives completely from his show and limited (prevented) his audience from hearing opposing viewpoints…

…Colbert fed liberal slop to his liberal-minded Kamala supporters and cared less about challenging them intellectually by actually appealing to their higher nature or engaging in thought-provoking debate. Nah, just keep sh---ing on half the country that is no longer afraid to say women don't have *****es and boys shouldn't get to beat up girls in girls' sports...

…So while I support Mr. Colbert's First Amendment right to free speech, that constitutionally only applies to the government not being able to silence you or seek reprisals...

Schneider is brave to say that.

And more are finding their bravery everyday thanks to leftist idiocy that sought to push everything wayyyyy too far.

I doubt I have watched any "late night" show since the 90's. Never cared one way or the other about it.

I can sum up modern late night with one simple example. Jimmy Kimmel told his audience that anyone that didn't take the Covid vax should not be given emergency care and rather be left to die on the street outside the hospital. His audience cheered in approval.

I didn't take the Covid vax but I am a grown ass man. My wife and I did not allow our sons at the time to get it even though our pediatrician urged us to. People like Kimmel, therefore, thought the notion of my own children dying in the street to be humorous. And simply because we as parents did not want that experimental therapy BS put in our children.

So F them. We were right.

If you were to tell me in the 90s that a lot of the cast of SNL, Kurt Loder and Kennedy from MTV were conservative leaning libertarians i would have looked at you like you had a giant gaping head wound.

Yeah looks like he had so much pride he felt he could lambast CBS for giving into Trump's lawsuit. But as Portnoy pointed out…. Dude, you're earning 16 million on a show that loses 40 million a year. How stupid can you be to talk smack about your employer under those circumstances?

Leno propped these shows up for a minute after Carson retired, but I had no idea they were still limping along.

The argument that CBS somehow took Colbert off the air because of caving to Trump is bull***** They cancelled the entire show, not just Colbert as host.

Got dang, losing 40 million with a staff of just 200! That's a loss of $200k per employee! They've been running a charity in furtherance of their propaganda mission.

It's amusing watching the liberal wailing and gnashing of their teeth over this and the fact that they refuse to accept that it was solely a business decision and not some vast right wing conspiracy

Can someone please point me to a comparable example on the right? Is there a Fox News show that's bleeding money propped up solely to further the conservative agenda? Nope, I didn't think so.

Own it libs, your messaging and agenda is awful and your propaganda solely depends on NGO and other dark money to prop it up.

Schneider's on the Gutfeld show panel every once in a while... he consistently provides good insight and opinion.

Maybe 6 weeks ago he was in Dallas or Fort Worth foe his comedy show... he was interviewed by WBAP (James Parker show)... it was a good listen (edit: he talked how he got activated in politics)... will search for that interview and post if find.

The episode... may need WBAP app to listen though): https://wbap-app.onecmsdev.com/?p=61613

The logical argument of course is that he shouldn't care because if he is so valuable and popular he should be able to land a new gig and make more. Of course the problem is that his ratings suck and almost no one watches him but he feels entitled to be paid like a star when he isn't one.

I'm enjoying all of these liberals getting destroyed one by one as no one wants to watch them anymore.

I picture an older guy, in a white wifebeater with unknown stains down the front of it, sitting in his underwear and wearing black socks, slouched in a ratty oversized chair, with a tv tray on one side of the chair, stacked high with books, few of which he has ever read. Watches late night television religiously and also likes game shows.

WBAP FINALLY got the hint and ditched their stupid tagline of "check back, three, four, five times a day" and changed it to "check back multiple times a day" and their news copy seems to have toned down the liberal rhetoric as well.

Who knows, maybe the spigot turning off forced them to actually report more conservative news.

This is where I think CBS is making a huge mistake. Now they're going to give this lying ass 10 more months to pontificate and push more garbage.

Why the hell this wasn't an immediate result is beyond me.

Contract probably. They just didn't renew it and it will run out in 10 months.

WBAP has gotten much better after they **** canned the 8 pm dude Chris Krok (was the show after Mark Levin's) ... Krok's presentation insights and opinions were terrible.

WBAP replaced Krok with Joe Pags starting at 8 pm (don't think Pags is live though).

Gentle reminder that in lib world, anything that happens that they do not like or approve of is Trump's fault. Eve eating forbidden fruit? Trump's fault. Cain mad at Able? Trump's fault. Noah having to build an ark? You guessed it, Trump ignoring climate change.

Holocaust? Trump racism and he is literally Hitler. Cancer? Trump cut healthcare for millions so Trump's fault.

Not getting laid tonight? Well Trump sent a mean tweet so guess what.

It's a remarkable pattern.

Would be great if comedians felt no need to propagandize. Just be funny and entertain us. Give us a few minutes of comedy after a long day and before the next long day. The left has left us no escape from politics.

Thing is that they can't make a joke because someone might be offended. The only safe material is the conservative/right/Republicans because they don't give a crap and/or realize they can't do anything about the cheap shots anyways.
