The press are just horrible propagandists for the Democrat party. The AP published a story with the title, "Veteran and US citizen arrested by ICE warns it could happen to anyone" and Military Times picked it up and ran it as if it were some cautionary tale for other veterans.

When you actually read the facts contained in the article, the guy who they refer to as a Veteran and US citizen was working as a security guard at the Camarillo CA marijuana far that ICE busted a couple of days ago. He arrived for work while the raid was in progress and was put in cuffs and detained. He was guarding a criminal enterprise where trafficked minors where being used as labor. The fact that he was a veteran and a citizen is completely irrelevant to the fact that his will probably be charged as an accessory to the crime committed by the operators of the farm and that he happened to arrive in the midst of a raid and could not be allowed to just wander around or leave while a warrant was being executed. The article also omits to mention that the raid turned into a violent riot with rocks being thrown and ICE officers and employees at the farm fighting ICE and trying to aid illegal aliens in evading and escaping arrest. That environment might have had something to do which the Veteran being arrested and spending three nights in jail.

Damn right it could happen to anyone who is complicit in a criminal enterprise.

Yuriana Julia Pelaez Calderon is one of many illegal aliens trying to scam American taxpayers out of their hard-earned money. This is excellent example of why these criminals should have been deported or never been allowed to enter into the US years ago. As usual, the liberals will claim citizens commit crimes at equal or higher rates. Liberals don't want to take responsibility for crimes their own party enabled through lenient criminal and open border policies. Even if only 10% of 10 million illegal aliens who entered the US during the Biden Administration are criminals, there would be an additional 1 million criminals that should not be in our country. There are already too many US citizens who are criminals and psychopaths. We don't need to voluntarily import millions more.
