Seriously - the offender here is Apple, but this is one of many recent "EU" rulings against American tech companies. Apple depends on software for an increasing percent of gross profit -- approaching 40% now.
Already tech companies give much better consumer protections to EU buyers (much better warranties, return rights...). Now European governments are also increasingly "taxing" US tech companies via fines. I'm hoping that Trump has this on his radar.
