I read a Newsweek article yesterday with a meter you could click to vote on the fairness of the article. Anyone else seeing something similar from others?

Most of them are so far gone they don't even know they are biased.

They occasionally throw out an ever so slightly critical of the left piece and quickly end it with, "but nowhere near as bad as the Rs" and they think that token gives them cover.

Look at the LA riot coverage and how often J6 is referenced.

They actively force the propaganda on the moldable masses. This has been the journalists method going back to the time of Walter Cronkite.

I think they would need to completely restaff and go hard obviously right to even be considered by most. Then again who would believe them. They have been screaming balanced for years, maybe decades. Nobody is buying it.

It's only as good as the people reading the stories. If it's only liberals reading, and the story is biased against conservatives, of course they're going to rate it as fair

I did not know they've had that meter so long. Guess it's been awhile since I've read Newsweek. I find it interesting they want feedback, but you're probably right. Just lefties giving them a fair rating. I found the article to be more fair than what I've read in the past because there was only a slight jab at Trump unlike the usual attempt at a beat down.

A couple nights ago CNN aired the George Clooney play about Edward R Murrow. Anderson Cooper hosted a round table afterwards with journalists and the general consensus was they are victims and under attack by Trump and co. No humility and no self awareness about the lies they trafficked in on Russian collusion, Hunter Biden, Bidens dementia etc.

People have moved on. Hell, I used to watch the local news for weather but it's better to use radar maps and storm2k or even TexAgs for more accurate weather without the woke.

They always throw out an occasional morsel of being somewhat balanced just so they can say they did it. But they won't fundamentally change until they can no longer exist in their current format. They see themselves as change agents. They have no interest in actually reporting honestly. It's about manipulation to their point of view.
