I follow this guy and watch a lot of his videos. I found this interesting this morning. The whole video is good, but my main commentary comes from the first story he covers.
DCA and Pentagon (obviously) use separate ATC. A hotline between the two has apparently been out of service since 2022! This was highlighted early in May when a several commercial flights were forced into go-arounds because civilian ATC had no clue what a Blackhawk was doing/where they were going around the Pentagon. Turns out the Blackhawk had landed but ATC at DCA had no idea other than last radar contact was near the final approach corridor. Blancolirio (y'all know him on YT as well) also put that Blackhawk pilot on blast for terrible radio etiquette. But to the point, seems fitting that the Biden cronies didn't seem concerned with keeping or returning that hotline to service.
