The video immediately begins with what clearly sounds like Thomas Sowell speaking, but it is a forgery

Now look at the comments. Many jump to discussing Jordan Peterson. There are several top comments pointing out this is indeed a fake. However, the majority appear credulously accepting with further responses stating it is not Thomas Sowell, but it doesn't seem to matter as warnings that the commentary is a fraud appear to go unheeded.

I'm wondering if JP has been pondering the idea of accepting Christianity the way it's intended vs the label most wear. But still odd not to just say "Yes" or "I'm still exploring".....its like he took a stance in past and doesn't want to come off it.

AI voice overs are all over YouTube now using voices of many public figures. Only thing you can do is give it a thumbs down and stop watching so the algorithm knows.

They need another button now to flag AI fakes.

What's most depressing is when live in a society where being a disrespectful duplicitous pissant is viewed as winning to people, including Christians.

If anyone actually watched the debate, most the exchanges went perfectly fine, and JP did fine. However, it's the disrespectful pissant that went viral. Why anyone would be impressed by that little ***** is truly beyond me.

I'm not finding it anymore so I assume his estate had the company take it down, I dunno.

Several months ago I got curious and went looking for Rush Limbaugh AI. Some company was demonstrating their tech by pulling all available Limbaugh audio history and creating talk radio segments on current news. It was not perfect but I was blown away at how close it sounded to Rush Limbaugh talking about news of 2024.

If there is anyone in the media landscape that would provide a good test case for AI it would be Limbaugh. Conservatively he probably has at least 15-20k solid audio hours of talking about enough baseline political philosophy and news of the day to learn what he would think about new issues and people on the political scene today.

Wild wild stuff. I imagine his estate is keeping a close eye on these companies using his stuff as a test case for their AI tech.

Limbaugh was pretty into new tech and even talked positively about AI when he was alive. I bet his estate is looking for the right opportunity to have it developed and continue to make money off his voice and ideas. Nearly five years later there is still no equal.
