Probably trying to get her to quit given she has an insane contract which I'd bet they'd have to pay even if they fire her. If quits, she would get nothing.

Did it succeed? Was he able to keep his staff on payroll? Maddow went directly to bat talking about hers----it may very well be her chance to do the same.

Is this a method used to get someone to quit as people say, or do staff reductions like this get inflicted on an anchor even when they want them to stay. Just wondering if it is proof MSNBC wants her gone.

No way. Her lies and bigotry won't sell in the independent market space, anywhere near as well as it does at the propaganda press called MSNBC.

Not many will actually pay her specifically to hear her rants about Trump/racists/Russia. She can say what she wants, but she doesn't deserve a 'seat at the big person's table' with Tucker et al.

Her best hope might be NPR, PRI, or maybe the new Soros radio network. Maybe she could co-host a show with Joy Reid, and one of the "View" idiots who were recently fired as well. With taxpayer grift to the MacArthur Foundation getting scaled back, I bet the former doesn't happen though. I read she makes $25 million a year.

LOLOL. Thoughts from a few days ago by the big guy:

Comcast and Charter are supposedly looking to merge, which could be the impetus to remove the communist stains from the former's books.

Around the 12:00 mark Kelly hits the nail on the head that Madow's behavior is all deception and lies disguised by self-righteous, condescending moral superiority.

If she truly believes her employer is racist she would leave.
