We the American people have suffered during the last four years from high inflation/high prices, high crime, and high illegal immigration/open borders. Instead of protecting our own borders, the Democrat Biden administration protected the borders of Ukraine. Democrats gave $350 billion to Ukraine while the American people's own southern border was wide open. Instead of fixing and improving our crime ridden crumbling cities and urban areas, Democrats gave hundreds of billions to protect Ukrainian cities. They gave $350 billion to Ukraine while we could not afford to feed our families because the price of everything doubled under Biden and the Democrats. Near the end of the last Democrat regime they waved the flag of another country on the floor of Congress to taunt hardworking taxpaying law abiding Americans. Thank you President Trump for putting America first and calling out that Dictator without Elections Zelenskyy. You speak for the American people. The people who support this war are an extremely tiny minority made up of sheltered luxury beliefs Democrats, and neoliberal/neocon warmongers benefitting monetarily at the expense of the taxpayer like Joe Biden, Antony Blinken, Victoria Nuland, Jake Sullivan, and Roger Wicker.

trump tore down Putins and the world's most feared and hated US organization: regime meddling and changing USAid. Trump's using rhetoric that 100% supports Russia's narratives about the war, and US/Nato aggression since the fall of the soviet empire.

I think we've gotten one(?) prisoner released from Russian prisons, and a denial from Ukraine on the issue of repayment for the war in the form of resource sharing.

What do we realistically expect to get from ending the war besides simply not paying for it to continue? Is that enough?

Scott Bessant suggested on Brett Baier that trump will deserve a noble peace prize f the war ends...however, i think Putin will be viewed as the aggrieved winner in all of this. Am I wrong?

I'm 100% on trump's side...but I think the narrative on this is diff than trump is spinning it (at least so far)

Our roll is to help facilitate to achieve a peace that best benefits US interests.

Zelensky may or may not be the leader of Ukraine that serves our best interests.

Zelensky thinks he has power. He is a figurehead dictator grifting money, weapons and supplies whilst wearing olive green jumpsuits and acting his way into the hearts and minds of the most gullible among us.

Trump sees through the ish and is going to drive a deal, Zelensky's fweewings aside.

Yes, it is known that Putin has been holding the Moscow pee tapes and as soon as Trump was re-elected he called his best buddy and told him in exchange for the pee tapes he would allow Russia to retake all former Soviet states.

This is just the first one.

Why is that? Putin is the aggressor. If you convince Putin to stop fighting, the war is over. Putin cankeep the land he occupies. What is Zelensky going to do? Attack Russia in those occupied lands and extend the war? Good luck with that. The gravy train is over.

The anti-Russian people are can't see the macro-geopolitical situation.

China is America's #1 enemy for the foreseeable future. Russia is not near the level of China, but is still a strong player on the world stage. All of our actions have driven one of the strongest world actors straight into China's camp.

In our struggle with China we will need Russia as our friend, not our enemy.

What does Russia want? Russia wants to control what it sees as its natural sphere of influence in Eastern Europe and Central Asia. What if I told you that up until 2008ish-2014 that's essentially what was going on? They had their puppets installed that heavily favored Russian interests. That's what they want again, they don't want more territory that's going to be called "Russia".

Why not give that to them? In exchange for favoring us against China?

As long as the majority of Ukraine remains autonomous, then, yes.

Pretty sure the American people are not the primary audience of his comments. This is a guy that pushed forward the Abraham Accords, and settled on a position of reciprocal tariffs after getting concessions for threatening 25% across the board tariffs. You have to seem just a little bit crazy for the Art of the Deal to work. You have to make insane bluffs, but be just crazy enough to back up your bluffs every once in a while.

Agree with your post for the most part, but I would posit our #1 enemy is the globalist regime that has been attacking us from outside and within for decades now. From enticing us to endless wars, the grift being exposed by DOGE, ESG, DEI, endless racism battles, open borders, unfair trade policies / trade deficits.

We did not find ourselves in this predicament by accident. Its been a well-funded (thanks Soros, Gates, Buffet) and well-led attack (looking at you Obama & friends) attacking us in our food, entertainment, economies, military readiness, energy supplies and encouraging our dependence on foreign oft hostile nations like China.

China and Russia are merely pawns in an attempt to destroy America. Why? Because we have been a self-determined country based on moral and godly values and that cannot be allowed to persist.

Do you have a better idea?

Ukraine is not going to get it territory back without US/NATO troops on the ground and air power in the sky. We both know that's not going to happen.

Funding endless war likewise is not going to result in Ukraine regaining their territory. However endless war will eventually see Ukraine run out of bodies to throw at the front long before Russia does.

You can say it's giving Putin what he wants but he already has it and no one is taking it from him. And if this goes on long enough he may get the whole thing.

I agree with this, but you forgot American Exceptionalism.

The goal is to make the U.S. less economically competitive so that a global hegemony can exists. It can't as long as U.S. workers are more willing to work harder and take more risks than European citizens.
