Salwan Momika, 38, staged several burnings and desecrations of Islam's holy book in Sweden in 2023. Videos of the Quran burnings got worldwide publicity and raised anger and criticism in several Muslim nations, leading to riots and unrest in many places.

The Stockholm District Court said a verdict scheduled Thursday in a trial in which Momika was a defendant was postponed because one of the defendants had died. A judge at the court, Göran Lundahl, confirmed that the deceased was Momika. He said he didn't have any information on when or how Momika died.

Police said they were alerted to a shooting Wednesday night at an apartment building in Sodertalje, near Stockholm, and found a man with gunshot wounds who later died.

Broadcaster SVT reported that the victim was Momika.Prosecutors said five people were arrested overnight on suspicion of murder. They said all were adults but gave no further details.
Prosecutor Rasmus Öman said the investigation is still in its early stages and that the suspects and others still have to be questioned.

Momika and a co-defendant were charged in August with incitement to hatred because of statements they made in connection with the Quran burnings. A verdict was supposed to be handed down on Thursday morning.
Because the globalists want more islam, via open migration, they suppress opposition and criticism of its very doctrines. Islam by its very nature leads inexorably to a need for more state control/policing/censorship, which is a feature to leftists, whether in the EU or US (democrats). It's not a careless accident or lazy stupidity that the importation of hordes of muslims from places like Iraq, Syria and Afghanistan (or Pakistan as it were even for the UK) is critical to folks like Soros/Schwab etc. The violent criminals Biden(*) imported by the millions serve a similar purpose (coursening of public society/culture).

When I saw this originally the first thought I had was " This guy is a dead man " other than libs, I am sure everybody else here had the same immediate response. This awaits everybody in The West.. Thank God this speech doesn't qualify as a " Hate crime or violence " like misgendering a 6"5" guy with a full beard in a dress. If this was incitement to murder they would have to go to prison, be stripped of their citizenship and immediately deported upon release with a 20 year sentence automatcally if they are found back on U.S. soil.
