Seems to be what the whole argument is over.

But, with a round number of 360 million American citizens, that comes out to be about $300 per person. If Congress had to send a bill to every American for that amount, how long do you think they'd have support for it, or anything else they want to blow money on?

$1200 for a family of 4 ain't chicken feed, and makes me wonder how much of the $110 billion in disaster relief will get skimmed off before it reaches those who need it.

Exactly. Everybody congratulating themselves on a shorter bill that got rid of smaller spend items but nobody is questioning the $110B amount.

If Biden wasn't given out money like candy to other countries we wouldn't have this issue.

What is the big deal?

We've given more than that to worthless lazy countries like Ukraine and terrorist countries like Pakistan.

Why am I not surprised you are on the side of handing out more money.

No. No more money without offsetting cuts in discretionary spending! Lets start with baby steps, shall we.

It's $110B to the reddest parts of the country, agree with the assessment here but Rs are not going to stop it.

All government spending (save wages) should cease election day and not resume until Jan 20. Make it a law!
