Why are we spending taxpayer dollars to fly multiple members of Congress to the 80th anniversary of the Battle of the Bulge?
I mean, for what value are we getting from this expenditure? How many members of Congress were treated to this little junket? How long was the stay? How much was the final bill to the government (aka taxpayers)?
Why do we need to send multiple members of Congress to Europe to observe this anniversary?

I am not seeing the possible legislative purpose for this trip to commemorate a battle fought 80 years ago.
And that should be a requirement for such trips, a legislative purpose.
They know it's a complete waste of tax dollars, which is why they needed to add that it's "bipartisan".
