Given how much big pharma $$$ is spent advertising on legacy networks, it could be the nail in the coffin for many of struggling "news" networks.

How will networks make up the loss?

If companies see no value in advertising on those networks, then yes. I would imagine there are companies that have been priced out (assuming networks are forced to lower costs) that would bridge some of the gap.

No.

They will just buy advertising for something legal. It's not the ads that bring them value. It's the influence.

Vance discussed this on Rogan. I'm not sure an advertisement ban is necessarily on the table. Seems like they are going after bigger fish. Specifically targeting regulators and congressmen having an employment path into the industries they regulate.

Exactly. No one else is going to spend the money that pharma does, because there's little return. I wouldn't be surprised if pharma is the only thing keeping a lot of these networks on the air.

…and pharma is just buying to bribe the MSM to gatekeep rather than investigate them.

Meh, pharma advertising is significant but there are plenty of other industries that are just as significant.

Insurance, automobiles, and tech (think ATT, Verizon, Apple, Amazon) just to name a few. P&G is actually a big spender here as well.

But what about all the fatties?!?! I mean, they've got their diabetes under control, and they're super heroes for keeping an eye on their pre-diabeetus. But without the advertisements for their medications, they will all die!!!1

And how will all the ****ty gay guys keep from getting HIV without their prep pills and injections that allow them to sleep with a new guy every day "safely." And how will they know that those who are assigned female at birth shouldn't take them???

Please say it will be so.... I am sure the auto makers and food supplement industry will take up the slack.

Not just news. I watched the original terminator movie this weekend. All pharma ads. They know the age group that would watch that movie. Man, those special effects were turrible.
