Trump came into office a bit naive in 2016. He trusted the wrong people. After all the crap they threw at him since coming down the escalator, he now knows how to work this and who you can and can't trust.

Yep, people forgot what happened during the first few months of Trump 1.0. There was constant leaks during that time. Was clear that there as a mole or number of moles in the oval office. Trump couldn't have a phone call without the content being immediately leaked to the press. Was stunning to watch at the time but was overshadowed by events so nobody really remembers all that.

Very well do remember. Including Schumer's "scorched earth" pledge just two days after inaugration. The division that followed was the Schumer Dems, McCain Republicans, and MSM's fault. Not Trump's. They didn't even try to work with him before starting to try to undermine them.

If was him, would conduct some important meetings on the lake with skies ordered clear.

Sounds like another govt entity that needs to be dismantled and rebuilt. The refusal alone indicts them. Bad enough that they preserved them unbidden when promised otherwise --to refuse to product copies makes it probable they forged some of what gave to the FBI -- at least, that is what the Trump team would be entitled to assume as there is no good reason not to provides is how would see it.
