This interview will do more for Trump than Trump/Rogan interview. The Tim Dillon audience is who Trump needs to put him over the top. They are the engaged that are disillusioned by formal politics. They are more libertarian and go against mainstream so lean more Trump than Harris but not enough to go vote.
Enter JD Vance who can articulate the vision of Trump/Vance better than anybody. In this 90 minute podcast Vance talks about military industrial complex, calls out the media for being hypocritical, discussed the uniparty agreement on foreign policy, trade which killed the middle class but made people at the top rich, and immigration.
Vance laid it out perfectly. In the last 40 years, only Trump has come out to say Free trade is not good for the middle class, wanting checks on immigration system, and stopping foreign wars. He goes on to talk about that craziness of the transgender movement. He directly says it's in U.S. interest not to go into war with Iran and called out how pro Israel Americans want to go to war more than actual Israeli. He clearly says Russia invading Ukraine but Ukraine is of no interest to USA and more concerned about China invading Taiwan. He said he hopes nothing happens there.
He gave a practical plan to deportation. He agreed with Bernie Sanders that open borders is a Koch brothers dream. He said the wealthy have been subsidized by the middle class by undercutting pay and creating the welfare state which is paid for by the middle class. The solution he says is to raise wages for American people and not import immigrants for cheap labor. He said the decline in family values is a result of shipping jobs overseas. Globalization has been good for rich people and rich countries but terrible for poor and middle class in rich countries. The benefits of went to the few at the top.
He then says he wasn't a Ron Paul guy but gaining an appreciation for it. He's wary of the federal reserve and ownership of assets by a few at the top. He said the current economic system is screwing young people.
Excellent podcast for the libertarians who need a reason to vote for Trump. Excellent and articulate explanation for why globalization sucks, on trade and immigration.
