Why tf do we use voting machines? They don't make the counting faster, more secure, more reliable, and they can be hacked by pretty much anyone who wants to.
Pure speculation here, but it's been on my mind for a while -- Don't you know that China, Russia, and [insert your favorite bad-guy country here] have instructed their best hackers to do everything they can to break into our voting systems?
Hell, we've got world class commercial companies in the U.S. (with ostensibly 'bullet-proof' security and 'smart' guys at the controls) getting hacked by bad actors on a regular basis. Given the general inferiority of government vs. commercial enterprise competence, I'd think that defeating the security measures used by these government-controlled voting systems would be like shooting fish in a barrel for the evil geniuses, doesn't it?
And, I'm pretty sure they don't want Trump to win, either.
Convince me I'm worried about nothing, and need to get a life.
