All this did for me was prove that leftists love murdering babies, gender mutilation, and want to empower the state to steal from you to 'fix' societal issues rooted in the state sanctioned breakdown of the traditional two parent family.
Every single one of these leftist students would gladly shoot me or my family in the next civil war to advance their Marxist Woke agenda. Therefore, every single one of them is my enemy.
And you consider yourself an eternal optimist? Torbush wow.
Jesus has already won the entire world through his immaculate conception, perfect life, substitutionary death on behalf of all believers, his resurrection, his ascension into Heaven, and his pouring out of the Holy Spirt upon his faithful at the Day of Pentecost. The Church Militant is empowered to go ye therefore and bring the Gospel to all ends of the Earth (Matthew 28).
My recognition of who my enemies are and what they would do to me in no way means that I believe that the sons and daughters of perdition will ultimately prevail. They already have lost along with Satan their master. They just don't know it yet........ and even amongst my enemies may be those who are future bearers of the banner of Christ who have been converted into allies. (see Russell Brand for instance)

Cool, but how does that translate optimism into the real world where you have to interact with, work closely with, be related to, etc. those that aren't exactly like you, or even opposite of you?
The post you're responding to literally answered the questions above…
Oh, I understand region speak, all too well. It's very flowery, ad nauseum at times by even those who like to keep it short, but that isn't what I was getting at. I'm talking about those that are "other."
Being loving and caring to those who are like you takes no effort. Converting them to be like you take more effort, but the one doing the converting still has it extremely easy compared to the one who has learned to accept, welcome, and even love someone who isn't the same.
There's many conservatives on here who have spoken about being married, related to and close with those same liberals, and any others who don't align with their religious or political views, yet they still have those close and loving relationships with them.
Those are the ones I'm asking him/her (don't want to assume) thinks about.
There are in fact two things, science and opinion; the former begets knowledge, the later ignorance. Hippocrates
