In hindsight it was a mistake to agree to a debate before either was actually a nominee.

Trump could have just "let's wait until we're both nominated". Sure he'd have caught some flak for "ducking" the debate, but Biden would be the candidate, and would continue his cognitive decline.

The DNC knew what they were doing. Everything they do is planned. Deep down they knew Joe was in decline and that's why they had an unprecedented debate so early. So everyone could see it all and gave them enough time to cut out Joe and replace him with whomever. Unfortunately they chose Kamala, who I think is gonna be worse than Joe

During primary season post NH Trump was asking Biden to debate immediately and for Nikki Haley to drop out. So he kind of had to agree

Democrats would have removed Biden, the debate just made it easier

I've read accounts in the mainstream press that the DNC puppet masters pressed Biden into doing the early debate. And look how quickly they pivoted to Kamala.

If the debates were held at the traditional times during election season and Joe put up that performance, the media would have covered for him. They were instructed to crap on him to get him out of the race.

They would've covered for him, but he still wouldn't have been able to be replaced like he was last month. The left would be stuck with him and Trump would win in a landslide.

So much spin on this "statement". Makes my stomach turn that "people" believe this is the absolute truth.

Democrats continue to play the game at a much higher level, but that's largely because the party is 100% compromised whereas the GOP still has a shred of dignity left (not much!).

I hope so. i know the Legacy media acts as the Goebbels wing of the DNC at times, but they are showing signs. Acosta went after her campaign manager today and some others have done the same
