I am not saying it's not worth voting in this election. Quite the contrary. It is absolutely critical that Trump win by a wide enough margin (which I'd say at least 10% is required) that the dems can't cheat without being blatantly obvious about it.

But I hope that if the dems steal the election again, republicans and independents will rise up and take this country back by force. The Venezuelan people are fighting for their country. What does it take for us to fight for ours? I keep hearing that we haven't gotten to the point yet where people feel they have to do that, but after the last 4 years and the realization that yours and millions of other Americans vote has been stolen, I would think that would be enough.

If we have to wait for it to get worse, you will never be able to get America back.

I'm certain there was fraud, and maybe enough to have tipped the election. But we can't prove it. No one has been able to actually prove it, almost four years afterwards.

And this isn't directed at you, but I'm like, ok if we can't prove it, then shut the hell up about it because all it does is make us look like whiners and losers. Sometimes things in life aren't fair, and all of us here have had to overcome those situations in our life journey.

All we can practically do at this point is work like hell to win upcoming elections and continue pressing for reforms that improve election integrity, transparency, and trust.

This stuff all ties together. And it's critically important that we nominate candidates who can win elections and advance the agenda. That's not a shot at any particular candidate, just a reinforcement that candidate quality matters if we want to improve election integrity.

Lol, it's a bit of a nuance. I'm not suggesting election integrity shouldn't be part of our platform -- it absolutely should. But it should be forward looking and not obsessing with claims of "stolen elections" that we can't prove. It just undermines our credibility. Our reasoning should be more that "every vote counts" and fraudulent votes steal from honest voters, so we should take steps to improve election processes.

Focus on the process and where there is risk of "vote theft." Kind of like financial auditors do when they examine the processes of public companies under Sarbanes Oxley. They don't have to prove fraud to insist that you should improve your process, only that the risk exists and you should take steps to eliminate the risk.

A similar conversation for election integrity. It won't be easy, but we can make steady progress if we stay after it. It might be two steps forward and one backwards, but that's still progress. Just need to sink our teeth into it and play the long game.

I think it will have to get substantially worse for people to wake the hell up. Like the entire country would have to be like skid row or Kensington avenue.

A huge portion of the voting public will have to realize that the more they vote for the same ideology the worse things get.
