Differences in the stigma associated with disclosing mental illness and/or treatment? Willingess to seek mental healthcare vs ""I can fix this myself"? Preference by those who disclose mental illness to support the party that is more likely to fund improvements in access to and quality of care?

This! Most doctors have been throwing SSRIs are people instead of encouraging them to be more active, have a purpose filled life, spirituality, and see a therapist.
