Democrats register as republicans all the time to vote in Republican primaries.

In light of the Act Blue donation I'd say registering to vote in the Republican primary is actually very telling

The argument being made in liberal circles is that he registered as democrat in 2022, not 2024. And that is proof to them that he didn't merely register republican to disrupt the GOP primary against Trump. As that was 2 years prior. They are also claiming that he didn't even vote in the 2024 GOP primary. That he only voted in 2022. (I'm not sure that is true or not). If so, does that mean he voted for Oz in hopes he'd get beat by Fetterman?

Of course, not voting in 2024 could be explained by the fact that by the time the primary actually happened, DeSantis was out and Nikki Haley was getting steamrolled by Trump and that primary didn't matter anymore.

If I met a person that registered as a democrat and donated money to WinRed, I would likely buy him a beer, and ask him about his voting strategies.

Ask everyone that is playing the registration as a republican card if they will make a donation to WinRed. They won't.

Notice how you ignore his donation to a democrat site. That blows your theory out of the water.

Unlike liberals voting in a GOP primary to disrupt it (which happens a LOT). there is no possible way that donating to a liberal cause would ever help the GOP.

90% of the time you can look at an individual and know which way they lean. That holds true in this instance.

IDK, I would say the ultimate truth is that he's just a deranged nutcase and it's really hard to discern exactly what his political ideology is (if there even is one to discern). That's usually the case with these people.

Good chance he never "registered" as a Democrat. Unless I'm mistaken, up there you "register" with a party to vote in the primary.

So he likely voted in the Republican primary as a disruption vote. Me might have voted in the midterms when he was 18, but odds of him voting in the midterm primary are likely slim.

Deep State could have registered this guy for whatever party where ever.

He was 20. He probably never voted before. Biggest question is…Who recruited him to do it, if anyone?

This is a sick dude that is now dead. He is no more representative of a political party than the kid that shot up the El Paso Walmart.

If it turns out he had been conditioned by the media into thinking this was a necessary thing to do, then yes absolutely.
