This is an interesting story. Dude is elected as Hays County District Clerk at age 19 and all hell breaks loose because of his incompetence.

Yeah he was a gas station counter clerk. He saw online that a Dem had not yet filed for the position, so he decided to run. Hays went all Dem including electing a socialist idiot as DA and they swept this clown into office. He replaced a woman who had been there something like thirty years and had a ton of experience.

Try getting a democrat to admit voting for this a 19 year old gas station clerk vs a republican with 30 years experience was maybe not a good idea. That is your modern democrat party. Deconstructing civilization one vote at time.

"I was very frustrated at the time if it is the time that I remember correctly," Anderson said.

Anderson said he recalled comments he made about Higgins. He said he regretted those.

Parks and Recreation. He played Ben Wyatt, who was elected mayor of his small Minnesota town at age 18. He was recalled after blowing the budget on a hockey facility called "Ice Town".

Not just a "hockey facility", it was a winter sports complex.

Why remove him from office? The people of Hays county got exactly who they wanted.

It's worse than just saying mean things.

Lawsuits and restraining orders have not been properly filed or served. Indictments have not been properly filed with the court. Even among the few criminals that this district attorney wanted to prosecute, some have had their charges dropped or significant trial delays because of errors by this guy.

If I'm not mistaken, there have been cases where the clerk has failed to send judicial orders to the jail regarding the release of inmates.

I think there was a big push on campuses to get students to register to vote locally rather than their hometown/county. On a college campus that benefits Democrats.

Your point isn't wrong. I'm just noting that it isn't necessarily the true residents determining the outcome.

Hopefully people like Bob Barton, Eddy Ethredge, and the rest of the LBJ-lovin' yellowdogs that ran Hays County for decades are rolling in their graves for this. Their cronyism held that county back for a long time.
