Maybe he doesn't want to be killed? I don't know, I kind of have a hard time believing Trump went down there and had ses with teenage girls, and I have been VERY critical of the dude. The fact that they have kept so much of the long client list under wraps and not a single person has been proesecuted (to my knowledge) leads me to believe some very powerful and connected people that you don't want to ruin are on that list.

Hopefully he uses threat of going public with the list to get the dems to do what he wants. That would be the proper move to get things accomplished in DC.

Because he isnt stupid. The CIA was run Epstein and they are the most powerful people on the planet. Someone told Trump what to do, which was not declassify. Trump listened. The last time a president didnt listen to the CIA, he died in Dallas.

He would likely release some redacted version of them or something that is known to cause limited damage.

OP, why are you throwing shade at Trump on this issue while another man is in the White House? If you have a problem with this, talk to Joe.

We're supposed to use Merchan logic that Trump had depraved sex on Epstein Island with pee tapes and everything because he won't release the information.

Believe me OP if that were the case, Merrick Garland would be all over it.

I believe there are certain rules when dealing with minors and releasing information about them. This is why he can't release the names.

Both are true statements and this is the sad state we are in.

Here's my theory....laugh at me all you like:

1. Contrary to what the media tries to portray, Trump, for all his perceived faults, is deep down truly a very patriotic American. He loves this country and doesn't want it, as an institution, to be torn apart or to be lessened in any way.

2. I think everyone with a lick of sense knows that Bill Clinton is not only on the list, but probably one of the most frequent visitors of all to the island.

3. Trump knows that if that would come out, it would diminish the presidency way more than people may realize, like truly have a long-term effect on the younger generations' attitude towards the presidency, the country, etc. It's this love for his country that probably motivated him not to fight his DOJ as he should have because he knew going after Hilary and exposing other swamp rats could have a very detrimental affect on the country as a whole (I'm not making an excuse...because I disagree with this...but I'm saying this could have been his mindset).

So there it is. Trump is protecting Bill Clinton not for Bill Clinton's sake, but for the sake of the Office of the President and a desire to keep the institution of the US government in its idealistic state for the rest of the country.

Now laugh all you want.
