TC was in the seat for a little over three hours, and the discussion ranged broadly. Tucker's observations re: the secrets to a successful marriage (he's been with/married to the same woman >40 years) are interesting, as is his take on sobriety. I was surprised how much time was focused on things beyond politics, but that in itself was illuminating viz. what makes Tucker Carlson Tucker Carlson.

If you have a long drive as I did, it's a pretty good way to pass the time.

Some people leave it on while they work, for work I often drive 2-3 hours each way to customers. I either listen to podcast or books during those drives

I love the long-form podcast, because the interviews are allowed to take whatever direction they want.

I'll listen while in the car while commuting, or at the gym, or have one on in the background while working. Just pause and pick up where you left off.

He was an alcoholic for many years and was basically raised by rich hippies who let him and his bro party and do drugs and go to Greateful Dead concerts at a young age.

He loves nicotine though, and claims that it boosts testosterone and that science is in agreement.

Come on...it was funny the way it was phrased. Knew each other for over 40...married for 33. But regardless, its a good example of marriage in these days when at least half are not. Kudos to Tucker

Listen to his story on Megyn Kelly. I've heard it before but not to that detail in Columbia. It was interesting

Been a fan of tucker and Shawn both for a very long time, certainly before anyone on this board. Glad to see they're getting the recognition they deserve and great interview.

Druglord might be a bit of an overstatement, but he certainly switched sides when he left Blackwater. He didn't go into a lot of detail on Megyn's show but he talked about seeking the most dangerous places he knew and "building out his network."

I think the episode dropped on or around Memorial day.

How long? You are 12 years younger than me, and it's doubtful "long time" in that context is accurate given my youthful television habits. Reading too - Tucker started as a writer and editor.
