Democrats only get charged when the party either sees them as a liability, or when they need a sacrificial lamb so they can claim they're not biased and prosecute Democrats too.

1. They wouldn't win. You couldn't get all 12 jurors to convict, even in west Texas.
2. Their career would be over.
3. They may commit suicide during the trial.
