Not sure if there's a way the RNC can put forth another candidate when the presumptive nominee has 34 felony convictions. If there isn't, there should be.

Because anyone with a three-digit IQ realizes this is 100% political, and taking Trump off the ballot would just confirm that the illegitimate use of the judicial system to kneecap a political rival is new SOP in the Democrat playbook.

Trump won't step aside. Biden won't step aside. Harris won't step aside. That is the problem.

Dems are the source of the Drama. They won't stop when Trump is gone, they will never stop. Taking your advice will splinter opposition and ensure FJBs reelection.

Strong DeSantis supporter here. I'm still surprised at the stupidity of the Republican party in passing on such as capable politician. And I've got such a low opinion of Trump that I've had a really tough time supporting him.

But with this verdict, I'm all in, and more than happy to join his administration to help him go scorched earth on the democrats and the administrative state.

So just toughen up and stop it with this "replace him" stuff.

No. Run Trump and have a strong VP who it may be very likely will take over the job for some insane reason or another. Once the VP is in the role of president they can work full speed to push back against the garabage from the left.

A strong VP is an absolute must in this election.

Nominating DeSantis isn't surrendering, its winning. It is the path to victory over these tyrants.

As for encouraging the same behavior, I can assure you, they aren't stopping. They'll do similar thing to any republican candidate at this point. DeSantis is the guy who can put a big dent in their power structure. They don't have the ammo stockpiled sufficiently to stop him.

They won't let Trump take office. This is just part of the plan to make sure it doesn't happen. If we keep going down this path, we lose.

You can stand up against this and support Trump all you want. It's simply not going to work. They already have too much power and have worked too long on their plans. Winning the election isn't enough. And there won't be a civil war. Just business as usual.

Agree that now is the time to stand up. Do or die. And DeSantis is the right play and will indeed make them pay - he's the only guy who can at this time.

So the democrats are successful in controlling the GOP? This is no longer a free country. The people have selected their candidate. The other party has no right to pick the GOP's nominee.

I'm old enough to remember

when there were a lot of us conservatives stating that we should nominate the best serving Governor who would put the focus on inflation and Biden's failures

and avoid having a nominee with a felony criminal record who was 80 years old and had already lost to Biden be the center of daily attention.

that was 7 months ago.

at this point- the voters of Iowa made the bed for the rest of us.

now they get to sleep in it for 5 years.

Not advocating for OP, but if Trump wasn't such a ****ty human it wouldn't be as easy to lawfare him. He gives them fodder. Using OP's suggestion of Desantis, it would be impossible for them to do the same. He's been scrutinized and is successful because he is a solid husband and father and is successful because of those things.
